Are you ready to start hitting the road with your Hot luxury car. Well before you do so, you must first attain your driver’s license At Access2Drive driving school training is made easy for all our clients. This is how our packages work with driving lessons, 5 hour class, car for your road test and test date. You will have everything you need to get your Driver’s License.
Driving lessons are 45 minutes long, and we provide our students with a vehicle. Most of our Cars are 2010 and newer Toyota Corolla models. These lessons will teach you how to drive defensively, learn the different techniques for the road and of course prepare you for your road test. These instructions also include traffic codes, laws and vehicle operation. Also, taking driving lessons will also teach you and warn you of dangerous conditions in driving such as road conditions, driver impairments, and hazardous weather.
Now that you have learnt some key information which is necessary to assist you on how to get your license, lets proceed further. First of all if you have never driven before and you are a new driver Access2Drive Driving School recommends that you should take one of our packages eleven (11) lesson package or sixteen (16) lesson package. This will allow you time to get to know the road and assist you to learn as much techniques as possible before you take your road test.
Included in your package is the 5 hour class. It is as important as driving lessons, as it is a pre-requisite for setting up your road test date. The Pre-licensing Course is a DMV approved, standardized classroom course that provides useful knowledge that you will need as a new driver. This course is often the first formalized training a new student takes. The course covers a number of important topics such as driving within the highway transportation system, driver habits and skills, feelings, attitudes and risk taking and alcohol, other drugs and driving. Note also that instructional videos may also be shown, demonstrating proper driving techniques, habits and the consequences that may happen if you do not follow the proper road safety precautions and rules of driving.
Setting up your lessons
As a new driver, taking our package we think a wise way of spacing out your lessons is to do at least two (2) driving lessons a week. Also try to complete the 5 hour class within the first 2 weeks of your driving school training. After completing the 5 hour class we will try to set up a road test date for you. This date could be anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks away, which gives you a lot of time to complete all of your driving lessons, spreading the rest of your lessons out to finish them before your road test date. Save at least two (2) lessons for the week of your road test.
Day of your Road Test You need to Bring
If you are under age 18, before you take your road test you must have a minimum of 50 hours of supervised driving lessons with at least 15 hours at night (after sunset) and at least 10 hours in moderate to heavy traffic (see DMV manual Page 12 for more info). Teen drivers (under 18) you must bring along with you to the road test a Certification of Supervised Driving (MV-262) completed by your parents or guardian to certify that you have had the required hours of supervised practice driving. The MV-262 must be given to the license examiner each time you take a road test. All other client need to bring a valid permit and your 5 hour class certificate (MV-278).
